Charles Amirkhanian speaks with Stanley Shaff and Douglas McEachern about their creation, Audium, a Theatre in Sound located in San Francisco California. This interview, one of the first done by Amirkhanian who joined KPFA on 8 July 1969, honors two of the most innovative pioneers of modern spatial music. Shaff, who celebrates his 75th birthday on February 14, 2004, is a featured composer at Other Minds Festival 10, taking place in San Francisco March 4-5-6 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
